If DateTimePicker can be created just before body tags ends and set its top-left according to its creator textbox top-left, this type issue can be solved. WebHowever, if I use this for the format, it does work: "format": "DD\/MM\/YY HH:mm" Ok, so now I should be able to modify the format like I want it: "format": "MM\/DD\/YYYY hh:mm" This indeed shows the picker in the right format, but like the first example, the create button fails with red outline and "Data is not in expected format".

Webit is a timing problem. that call for Jquery to add the date picker only runs one time. When the next page comes up, that call is not run again. One solution is to wrap a function around that jQuery call and run that function every time datatables redraws the page. I use a similar idea to put onClick events on some cells.
