So I just bought crysis on steam and it is not working whenver i try to launch it the game goes to a black screen for a momemnt then crashes, I used to own the original retail disc but i threw it away because the disc was very scratched up and unreadable by any optical drive. WebAug 14, 2024 · Ok, so got the GOG version of Crysis 1 and it also crashes when loading. I looked at the log file and it is crashing on or after "Initializing AI System" Anybody have any ideas? Maybe the Crysis Warhead executable will work with this one? Maybe I need to patch to the latest version? Not sure if the retail patch would even work on the GOG version.
